Celebrants are ceremony specialists who are not restricted to a particular faith. Each ceremony is uniquely written for each client; they are one of a kind. Celebrants honor the beliefs of their client's, not the Celebrants.
Celebrants officiate at all types of ceremonies and rituals: for babies namings and adoptions, coming of age, marriages, commitment ceremonies, renewal of vows, funerals and memorials. Celebrants also develop ceremonies to enrich daily life and for community, corporate and civic events. The opportunities to use ceremony to create connections among neighbors and families and for healing and celebration, are as varied as are Celebrants. Educated Celebrants go through rigorous professional training, have knowledge in world cultures, rituals and traditions. Cynthia has over 400 hours of formal training in these studies, and continues to research various ceremony styles, poetry, prayers and rituals that might apply to your personalized ceremony. She networks with a community of celebrants for inspiration and sharing.
