Cynthia, a lifelong artist, holds a BA in Liberal Arts with an emphasis in writing, psychology and art and is a Certified Life Coach through Coach Training Alliance and a certified "New Life Story" coach through Mentor Path. She has graduate studies in Depth Psychology from Pacifica Graduate Institute and has worked as a counselor for a mental health agency. She was an award winning business owner for over twenty years and has successfully worked in sales and marketing for Fortune 500 companies. Her interests in art, writing, photography, dream interpretation, public speaking and her love for animals, intertwine beautifully with her livelihood as a Celebrant. Cynthia is a Certified Celebrant for Weddings and Funerals with the Celebrant Institute. In order to earn certification, she spent several months and over 400 hours studying the art of ceremony and ritual as well as the foundation and structure of ceremony. She is a non-denominational Ordained Minister through Universal Life Church, fulfilling the requirements to perform weddings in Washington State as well as most US States. She has a deep understanding of the significance of life events and the importance of recognizing these milestones in our lives.
Cynthia is the mother of three grown children and grandmother to six. She was born and raised in the Puget Sound area and loves the beauty of the Pacific Northwest. Her hobbies include watercolors, writing, photography and working with photoshop and other art programs. She is a member of Celebrant Association of North America, Toastmasters International, and the International Coaches Federation.
